Speech #1

Thanksgiving is when you give Thanks for a toy, book, or a game. You’ll be eating turkey or may be if you want crambarry sauce or Gravee sauce. If you are done with the turkey, you can play while adolts stay at the table and maybe do cheers. You can read a poam called turkey time or maybe sing the poam.

Speech #2

I’m thankful for my friends because they give me company. I’m also thankful for my birthday partys. I’m thankful for my stuffed animals. I love to eat turkey for thanks giving. I’m thankful for my little brother, K.

the week of Halloween

Last week was a busy and exiting day. On Tuesday, my Grandma came from Maryland to take care of me and my brother. My Mother and father have to go on a bisiness trip to China and Hong Kong. because of Halloween, they dasited to leave late Friday in the evaning. I enjoyed Halloween. We had a parade and a Halloween party, I can wear my favarite costome and in the evening, We went trick-or-treat with my best friends. I really had a wonderful Halloween!

Topic: With Halloween just around the corner, the students were asked to pretend that an alien family is visiting planet Earth and they have no idea what Halloween is and what it entails.

Halloween is when you get treats From other peaple. You celabrate Halloween because People would get candy, have fun, and dress up. Peaple can dress up as a vampire, bat, Fairy, or disney carecters. When a person knocks on the door, The person opens the door and the Kids shout: Chucer treat! and peaple that lives there will get the Jar. Or if they go out, they can put the Jar outside.

Topic #1: What do I want to be when I grow up?

When I grow up, want to be a Artist. I love all tipes of Art. I like: paint, crayons, paper, clay, glass, and glitter. I can make: Glassfushin, Snowflakes, Pinch pot, yarn, Glittering picture like a Glittering snowflake.

Topic #2: “My favorite Day”. Students can write about what they would like to do if they had one full day to do whatever they wanted to do.

If I wanted to start the day, I would make a lot of books and learn to write Chinese and have some fun like playing, doing math, and draw.

Note from Mommy: One of the things that I wish I excelled at was public speaking. Since it’s such a valuable skill to have, we signed up K for an after school Public Speaking program.

Each week, K is tasked to write a speech and deliver it to her class. I thought it would be fun to write them down (spelling mistakes and all) for everyone to enjoy.

Topic: Describe their favorite snack or meal so they can write a mini “how-to” and share with everyone their recipes

Tropicol ice cream boat

First, we gather the ingrideents: banana, strawberrys, oreo, gummy bears, and ice cream. Nexxt, we take a scoope of ice cream and then put it on a paper plate. Last, we decarate the ice cream and put on the gummy bears. Finally, we get to eat it!

this is why this dasort has the word Tropicol: because a banana is a Tropicol Fruit. This why this dasort has the word boat: because the gummy bears sit on the ice cream. The ice cream is the boat.
